it was a graveyard smash
[ Cullen was not the sort to do couple's costumes. Scratch that-- he was not the sort to do costumes in general, but when Daenerys had given him that look and had asked him to, who was he to say no? As far as costumes went, he supposes this isn't too bad-- it's not terribly far off from what he might wear otherwise, a flannel and jeans, though now ripped and spattered with fake blood. He'd even gone and let her add some extra adornment, make up that she had sworn made him look "wolfish", though he thinks it just makes him look silly. Still, if it makes her happy, he's sure he can suffer it for one night.
That one night has brought them to 'Tranquility Fields', or for the season, 'Tran-kill-ity Fields'. He can't help but feel they're both too old for traipsing through corn mazes and haunted houses. But it's all in good fun, and at the very least, he thinks he can have a little fun on Halloween night. The entrance to the attraction is filled with people-- all in costume, most with far more effort than Cullen has put into his-- and he swoops up behind her, curling his arms around her waist. ]
Hey, Little Red. [ Cullen says it with the best growl he can manage, dipping his head to press a kiss to her neck. ] Are you sure you're not too scared? There's still time to turn away.
